Lady Cougars, Lady Panthers fall in District 13

The Logan County and Russellville high school softball teams both suffered losses this week in District 13 games.

Logan County lost 5-3 to Todd County Central on Tuesday in Elkton. The Lady Cougars are now (2-5) on the year. They were scheduled to play Russellville on Thursday night in a softball Clash of the Cats. Their next scheduled game is on Tuesday, April 12 at home in a rematch with Todd Central.

The Russellville Lady Panthers lost 13-3 in five innings to Franklin-Simpson on Tuesday. Just one night earlier, they beat Trigg County 3-2 for their fifth win of the season.

Russellville (5-6) is scheduled to play in a tournament this weekend in Clarksville. Their next home game is slated for Monday, April 11 against Barren County.
