Logan County was beaten 12-1 in five innings on Tuesday by Franklin-Simpson in its first District 13 game of the season.

The game came on the heals of the Lady Cougars first win of the season on Saturday over Warren Central.

LCHS is now 1-3 on the year and were scheduled to play Thursday night at Allen County-Scottsville. The Lady Cougars next game will be Friday at home against Ohio County and then on Monday at Butler County.

On Tuesday, the Lady Cougars travel to Elkton to face Todd County Central in their second district game of the year and then host Russellville on Thursday in the first softball “Clash of the Cats” this season.
