The Russellville High School boys’ basketball team completed its District 13 regular season on Friday night with a resounding 85-52 victory over visiting Todd County Central.
Pedro Bradshaw led the way for Russellville with 26 points. Jacob Naylor and Jason Mitchell each added 18 points.
The Panthers finished the district schedule with a 5-1 record, beating Todd and Logan County twice and splitting with Franklin-Simpson.
Russellville and Franklin-Simpson will have a coin flip to decide which team will enter the district tournament as the top seed. The top seed will take on Todd Central in the first round, as the Rebels finished 0-6 in the district. The No. 2 seed will get third seeded Logan County in the first round.
Russellville is now 16-5 overall. RHS has won five of its last six games, with the lone loss coming to Franklin-Simpson on the road.
The Panthers take on Bowling Green, one of the top teams in the Fourth Region, at home tonight in a girl-boy doubleheader. The Panthers then close out the regular season on Friday night at Butler County.
