Cougars’ loss streak at five

The Logan County Cougars basketball team dropped their fourth game in a row on Thursday, December 17 to Ohio County, 55-70.

The loss at home made the Cougars’ overall record 1-5.

Austin Rayno led the team with 13 points. Eight other players scored in the contest.

Next up for the Cougars is play in the First Southern National Bank Christmas Classic.

Lady Cougars win

The Logan County Lady Cougars pushed their overall record to 6-3 with a 63-45 victory over Christian County at the Toyota of Hopkinsville Classic, on Friday.

With the victory, the Lady Cougars hold sixth place (just ahead of Russellville) in the girls’ Region 4 standings.

Next for the Lady Cougars is a trip to Caldwell County on Tuesday night, December22. Schools are out for Christmas break, so the tip-off time for the game is 1:00pm.

It will be after Christmas for the next action for the Logan County team will be play in the First Southern National Bank Christmas Classic.
