The Kentucky High School Athletic Association updated their lists of Statistical Leaders.
For each Class, the lists were broken down to the top 15 in each of 11 categories.
The Logan County Cougars, in spite of a winless season, made the list in Class 4A. The Cougars were 14 of 15 in Team Rushing Defense, allowing an average of 169 rushing yards per game in 10 games. By comparison, the undefeated Region Champion South Warren Spartans had the number one rushing defense, allowing just 35 yards per game.
The Panthers were well represented.
Josh Bibbee and MJ Jones each made the top 15 in rushing. Bibbee was 10th with 1252 yards average of 114 per game; Jones with 1089 yards—average of 91 per game.
Jones also made the list of scoring leaders at number five with 144 points, an average of 12 per game.
Russellville is third in team scoring averaging 49.8 points per game. The Panthers are 13th in team scoring defense, giving up an average of 22.5 points per game.
The Panthers are fifth-best in the state in Class 1A in average margin of points at +23.6.
The Panthers are best at team rushing average with a total of 4246 yards, an average of 354 per game. Second best is Harlan High School with nearly 800 rushing yards less.
The Panthers are eighth in rushing defense with opponents averaging 123 yards per game.
Russellville ranked 15th in passing defense, allowing 93 yards per game.
