Logan County High School will host the sixth annual Blue White Night at the Logan County High School Main Gym on Friday night, November 20.
The Blue White Night is the event to come out and show support for Logan County Basketball programs in both the High School and Middle Schools. It is an opportunity to meet the players, cheerleaders and the Pep Band members as both the Logan County High Schools Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball programs prepare to embark on the 2015-16 season and defend their District 13 Championship titles.
Admission to the event is only $1 or one canned food item. And children five and under are admitted free.
The agenda for the event includes introductions of the LCHS Boys and Girls players and coaches, Middle School players and coaches and cheerleader introductions, cheerleading performances, and the LCHS Pep Band will be on hand. Expect some fun times with basketball shooting contests between the county schools and door prizes announced through the evening. And get a glimpse of Logan County Basketball talent while watching Intrasquad Scrimmages of both Boys’ and Girls’ LCHS teams.
“We had a really good turnout last year, “said Zach Simpson on behalf of LCHS, “as we filled up all the lower level bleachers as well as some of the top level.” He went on to say that the goal this year is to improve on attendance and on the donation of canned goods for a good cause.
“Come out and see the basketball, cheerleading and pep band programs that will represent the county this year. Every one of these individuals has worked hard in preparation for the upcoming seasons.” added Simpson.
