The Russellville High School Football Team had eight players selected to the All Sky Conference Team for their outstanding play during the regular season.

First Team Offense selections were Josh Bigbee and Truston Clayton. First team Defense selections were Hason Mitchell, Trey Matthews and Mason Aguirre. Second Team selections Jaylyn McMurry and Caleb Hardison on defense, and MJ Jones on offense were also honored.

Head Coach John Myers spoke highly of these teammates, “We are extremely proud of these eight young men and what they have accomplished for our team this year.” He said. “These young men have worked extremely hard this year and these awards are well deserved. It was a great feeling being able to have this many athletes represent our school, community, and football program.”

Myers added, “Panther Nation, you should be proud! This was a great way to start our week as we prepare for the first round of the playoffs.”
