Logan County Cougars football ends regular season at home vs. Todd County Central

On Friday night, October 30, the Logan County Cougars finish their regular season when the Todd County Central Rebels come to LCHS Stadium.

The evening’s festivities will include recognition of the first LCHS football team and Coach Steve “the Hammer” Eans.

These two teams have played common opponents in this season. In September the Rebels lost to the Russellville Panthers 28-64, and last week they were beaten by the Butler County VBears 10-49. The Cougars also lost to the Panthers 6-41 and to the Bears 6-46.

Like the Cougars, the Rebels seem to favor the running game so look for another hard-hitting and spirit filled contest this week.

The 0-9 Cougars still look for their first win of the year. The 2-7 Rebels are 1-3 in their Class 2A District 2 and are set to open their playoff run next week against Mayfield.

Kickoff time for the Rebels vs. Cougars is 7pm at LCHS.
