Cougars shut-out Panthers in Soccer “Clash of Cats”

Stephen Foster and Josh McKinney each scored a goal and Garrett Wilhelm scored three, as the Logan County Cougars Boys’ Soccer Team shutout the Russellville Panthers, 6-0, on Thursday at the Community Soccer Complex in Russellville.

The win keeps the Cougars undefeated overall record intact at 5-0-1. Thursday’s victory over the Panthers was the Cougars’ second District 13 win, the first coming only two nights before 4-1 over Todd County Central.

The loss set the Russellville squad back to 0-4 on the young season. Next up for the Panthers is a District 13 game at home versus Todd County Central on August 31 at 6:30pm.

Logan County plays again on September 1 at 7pm at home versus the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats.
