Lisa White chosen as next SES principal

On Monday night, the Stevenson Elementary School site-based decision making council reached a decision on the school’s next principal on Monday night.The council voted to offer the job to Russellville High School assistant principal Lisa White and she has accepted the position.“A special thanks to the Stevenson council members for many long hours of work in the search process,” said Russellville schools superintendent Leon Smith. “And congratulations to Ms. Lisa White!”White has worked primarily with the middle school wing at Russellville for the past two years. Prior to that, she was the head of the alternative school for RHS and also spent several years as a teacher at Stevenson.

 

Career Fair at Auburn School

On April 24th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Auburn School will be hosting a College and Career Family Night. The title of this event is Lead Today. Succeed Tomorrow. HVAC system at Justice Center suffers from possible power surge

A possible power surge over a week ago has occurred at the Logan County Justice Center causing the HVAC system to stop working on its own. The problem will require approximately $6,610 worth of work to repair.According to Judge Executive Logan Chick, the county will pay for the repair, however, a reimbursement of the expense will be given by the Administrative Office of the Court (AOC) when the work is complete.
