Jerry Caudill, 64, of Auburn was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury April 26, 2013, on 36 counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.
Caudill, according to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, between May 24, 1979 and May 24, 1982 in Logan County, and being against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky knowingly and unlawfully committed the offense of sexual abuse in the first degree when being 21 years old or more, subjected another person who was less that 12 years old to sexual contact.
Caudill is scheduled to be arraigned May 16, 2013, at 8:30 a.m.
According to the Kentucky Revised Statute, sexual abuse in the first degree is a Class D felony, unless the victim is less than 12 years old, in which case the offense shall be a Class C felony.
In Kentucky, a Class C felony carries a penalty of no less than five years and no more than 10 years in prison.
