Lady Panthers fall to the Lady Dragons

The Russellville Lady Panthers played the Warren Central Dragons on Monday night. The Lady Panthers battled but they were not able to take the win as they fell 12-7 to the Lady Dragons.

The Lady Panthers would take the lead early in the game. The lead off hitter Brea Croslin would single. Followed by Macy Meacham and Cierra Collins. All three would score with RBI hits by Tara Gilbert and Shea Hampton.

Their lead would not last long, The Lady Dragons would step up to the plate in the top of the second and score four runs to take the lead of 5-3. They would add six more runs on in the top of the third, with the Lady Panthers still down 11-3.

The Lady Panthers were never able to catch up to the Lady Dragons, but they did have a big seventh inning, coming close to the Lady Dragons. But the Lady Panthers were not able to score enough runs, resulting in a 12-7 loss.
