Both of the Russellville Panther teams played on their home fields Tuesday night. The Lady Panthers faced the Lady Raiders from Hart County and the Panthers played the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats. The Lady Panthers suffered a big loss of 17-0 to the Lady Raiders and the Panthers fell 7-0 to the Wildcats.

The Lady Panthers started the game off good, getting three outs before anyone was on base in the first inning. The Lady Panthers were able to get some runners on base, but were unable to score.

In the second inning, the Lady Panthers made some mistakes, which resulted in the Lady Raiders to gain a lead of 0-7. The Lady Raiders prevented the Lady Panthers from scoring again, leaving a big gap to fill.

The Lady Raiders would add five more runs to the score in the third inning and get three more outs before the Lady Panthers could score.

The Lady Raiders ended the game in the fourth inning after adding another five runs to the board, ending the game 0-17.

The Panthers played the Wildcats later that evening. The two teams were ready to battle, and they did.

Most of the game was a battle for the two teams. During the first five innings, both the Panthers and the Wildcats did their job on the field and were able to get outs before any runner scored. Which resulted in a tied up game until the sixth inning.

The Panthers were in the field and got an out early in the inning. The Wildcats began to get good hits on the ball while the Panthers made some mistakes. The Wildcats were able to get in three runs and keep the bases loaded. The fourth run was walked by the Panthers and that was followed by a home run to end the inning with seven runs for the Wildcats.

The Panthers did not have any success getting any runs in, as they ended the game with a 0-7 loss.

The Lady Panthers will travel to Metcalfe County to face the Lady Hornets tonight. The Panthers will face Allen County-Scottsville tomorrow at home at noon
