The Logan County Lady Cougars faced the McLean County Lady Cougars on Monday and ended the game with a big loss. The Lady Cougars started the game slow which led them to lose 87-60.

McLean County had a big fist quarter gaining a 30 point lead over the Lady Cougars ending the first quarter 4-34. The Lady Cougars got back on the court and scored several points but was still behind 20 after the first half with a score of 23-42.

The Lady Cougars came out to score 22 points in the third quarter but McLean County still had a huge gap on the Lady Cougars by 23 points. The game ended with a 27 point loss to McLean County.

Maegann Hardison led the Lady Cougars with 20 points, with 18 of those being three-point shots. Katelyn Jones followed with 11 points for the Lady Cougars and 8 for Laura Hunt.

Both of the Logan County teams headed to Glasgow on Tuesday to face the Scotties and both teams ended with a loss for the Cougars. The Lady Cougars game ended with a score of 48-73 and the Cougars ended with 45-68 loss.

Both teams will play tonight in a home double-header against the Todd County Central Rebels. The Lady Cougars tip off the night at 6 p.m.
