The Logan County High School Marching Cougars began “band camp” this week, preparing for their up and coming season. Returning band members and new players were introduced to the teaching techniques of Logan County’s new Director of Bands, David Dayton.
Although the band members were met with grueling temperatures, they were also met with praise and encouragement by not only Dayton, but his assistant Mandy Beasley, who is also the band director at Auburn Middle School.
Dayton and Beasley are no strangers to one another, as they both worked together years ago when Beasley served as Director of Bands for the high school with Dayton as her assistant.
