A Logan County teenager was injured Monday afternoon in a four-wheeler accident.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's Department report, Meagan Richards, 16, and Echo Straw, 15, were riding a Honda Recon four-wheeler when Richards, who was driving, apparently lost control while entering a gravel driveway off Union Church Road. The vehicle overturned, ejecting both occupants onto the front yard of the residence. Richards suffered a broken collar bone and was treated by Medical Center EMS on the scene and transported to Logan Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released. Shaw did not report an injury.

The incident is being investigated. The girls were not wearing helmets and were operating the ATV on a roadway.
