Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stuart of Bowling Green are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelly Lyn, to Chad Michael Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Young Jr. of Connersville, Indiana.
Shelly is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Stuart of Logan County, Charlotte Davenport of Bowling Green and the late Oliver Davenport.
Chad is the grandson of Mr. Robert F. Young Sr. of Connersville, Indiana, the late Bertha Young and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert McHenry.
She is a graduate of Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky University.
He is a graduate of Connersville High School and Western Kentucky University. He is employed by Daily News Broadcasting.
The wedding will be October 6, 2012, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, with a reception to follow.
