RHS track teams honored

Russellville's track coaches presented awards to their teams this week after successful seasons.

Coach Dennis Sydnor named sophomore Kenton Cage most valuable in field, senior Chris Hampton most valuable in track and freshman Mikie Benton most improved.

Sophomore Nathan Sindorf earned the academic award.

Plaques were given to seniors Chris Hampton and Dontray Hampton for three years on the track team and Brian Morgan for two.

Coach Matt Tipton named senior Antoinette Dandridge most valuable Lady Panther. Freshman Courtney Mayo was most valuable field and junior Shonay Dandridge most improved. Chloe Elam and Chiquita Rose shared the most valuable field award. The academic award went to senior Loreal Jones.

Plaques were awarded to Antoinette Dandridge for being on the team five years and Jones for four years.
