Ralph Tilton Harrell, 79, of Russellville, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

He was born in Emporia, Va. Aug. 21, 1932, a son of the late Robert Lee Harrell and the late Beulah Gordon Harrell.

Mr. Harrell was a paratrooper with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of the Russellville Masonic Lodge # 17 F&AM, and was a member of the Greenridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Harrell was a self employed electrician and later worked for ITW.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 12 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Joe Vaught officiating Burial followed in the Greenridge Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, April 11 from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, April 12 after 8 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Masonic Services were held Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were David Stuart, Leon Gant, Mike Brown, Ronald Starks, James Justice and Keith Hildabrand.

He is survived by his wife, Dean Gant Harrell; his son, Roger Harrell and wife Altricia of Russellville; his sisters, Evelyn Allen of Emporia, Va. and Frances Bunn of Newsom, Va.; his grandchildren, Maegan Harrell and Lauren Ossello both of Bowling Green, and his great-grandson Riley Ossello.
