Ken “Casey” Holloway, 78, of Olmstead, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Logan County on April 2, 1934, a son of the late Alvy Lovin “Doc” Holloway and the late Ruth Ellen Hankins Holloway. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his brothers, Doug, Rob, Randall and David Holloway and his sister, Sheila Mae Holloway.

Mr. Holloway was a farmer and a member of the Dripping Spring Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. in the Dripping Spring Baptist Church in Olmstead with Brother Jeff Noffsinger officiating. Burial followed in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation began Saturday, Oct. 13 from 4:30-9 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel and Sunday, Oct. 14 from 1-3 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers were Casey Robertson, John Robertson, Adam Holloway, Eathan Holloway, Phillip Holloway and Chris Milam.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Holloway; his sons, Ricky Holloway and Jackie of Olmstead, Phil Holloway and Laurie of Russellville and Alvy Holloway of Nashville, Tenn.; his daughters, Tammy Tucker and Larry of Silver Point, Tenn. and Angie Robertson and Sonny of Olmstead, Ky.; his brothers, Ed Holloway, Jerry Holloway, Garnett Holloway and Johnny Holloway all of Russellville; his sisters, Linda Celsor, Brenda Gorrell and Sandra Speers all of Russellville; his grandchildren, Adam Holloway, Conally Martin, Eathan Holloway, Phillip Holloway, Jon Robertson, Casey Robertson and Becky Brown, and nine great-grandchildren

The family asks that donations be made to the Dripping Spring Baptist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
