Bina Lee Givens, 98, of Morgantown died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at her home.

Mrs. Givens was born Jan. 20, 1912, in Butler County, a daughter of the late Windham E. Lee and Novella Womack Lee. She was a homemaker and member of Cave Rock Missionary Baptist Church having joined in 1954 and was a member of New Gasper Missionary Baptist Church prior to that.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Givens was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. “Babe” Givens; three sons, Stewart Givens and Warren Givens and an infant son; and a son-in-law, Randall Phelps.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown with burial following at Union Cemetery in Morgantown.

Mrs. Givens is survived by her son, Dotson Givens and wife Irene of Morgantown; her daughter, Linda Givens Phelps of Morgantown; her grandsons, Warren Dale Givens of Auburn, Giles Taylor of Elkton and Jared Daugherty of Russellville; her granddaughters, Debbie Shain of Pine Know, Darlene Follin of Bowling Green, Denice Givens of Henderson, Tenn., and Karen Givens of Morgantown; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; her daughters-in-law, Naomi Givens of Bowling Green and Mary Givens of Morgantown; her step-daughter, Nada Givens of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
