Dorothy Herald Perkins, 93, of Beech Island, S.C., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva R. Perkins of Russellville, Ky.
A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Napier Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family would like to extend a special heartfelt appreciation to Ralph Smith, a family friend and caregiver for two years.
She is survived by her nieces, Judy (Ladd) Britt of Beech Island, S.C., Pamela (Wendell) Ellis of Statesboro, Ga., Patricia (Lewis) Billings of Russellville, Ark. and Merrie (Robbie) Smith of Aiken, S.C. and her nephew, Rick (Debbie) Boyd of Aiken, S.C.
