Jane Robbins, 79, of Auburn, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, in the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

She was born in Barren County on Sept. 4, 1933, a daughter of the late Johnnie Crit and Claudia Elizabeth Thomas King.

Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church and formerly volunteered with the Logan Memorial Hospital Woman’s Auxiliary and numerous activities around Logan County.

A private family service will be held Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Grant Minton officiating. Burial will follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation began Friday, Feb. 22 from 5-8 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel and Saturday, Feb. 23 from 11-1 p.m. at the church.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth H. Robbins; her sons – Mike Robbins and Claire of Nashville, Tenn. and Kevin Robbins and Stacy of Frankfort; her half-sister, Eugenia Parrish of Glasgow, and her grandchildren, Katie Robbins, Tyler Robbins and Chessman Robbin.
