Connie S. Stratton, 63, of Auburn, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.

She was born in Logan County on Oct. 19, 1949, a daughter of Betty Edwards Stratton Heatherly of Springfield, Tenn. and the late Floyd Thomas Stratton.

Ms. Stratton was a member of the New Life Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Brother Rusty Thomaston officiating. Burial followed in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation began in the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 13 from 12 until time of service.

In addition to her mother, Ms. Stratton is survived by her son, Ben Redfern of Ontario, Canada; her daughter, Laura Rains and husband Brian of White House, Tenn.; her brothers, Brad Stratton and wife Darlene of Madison, Tenn. and Kenny Stratton and wife Damaris of Springfield, Tenn.; her sister Maryland Gore and husband Donald of Franklin, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
