Lillian Edna Francies, 89, of Allegre, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Todd County Aug. 30, 1923, a daughter of the late Ozie and Ruby Long Hightower. In addition to her parents, Mrs Francies was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Francies in 1983 and her son, Delphin Hightower in 1966.

Mrs Francies was retired from Flynn Enterprises and was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Reverend Tommy Franklin and Reverend Neil Immel officiating. Burial will follow in the Francies Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 28 from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellauese Rager of Allegre; her sisters, Clarice Francies of Allegre and Anna Augustus of Hopkinsville; her granddaughter, Tracey J. Rager of Allegre; her great-grandson, Justin L. Rager of Lacey, and one great-great-grandson, Austin Rager of Lacey.
