Logan County Grand Jury returned an indictment Feb. 8, 2013, on 20-year-old Kyle Whittington, of Gordonsville Road, Russellville, for one count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.
According to the indictment, between Nov. 1 and Nov. 15, 2012, Whittington , against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky knowingly and unlawfully committed the offense of Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree when he subjected another person to sexual contact who is incapable of consent because she is leas than 12 years of age.]
Whittington was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center and held under a $15,000 cash bond. he is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 28, 2013, at 8:30 a.m.
