The U9 Logan County Impact Football team has a lot of people talking in town of future talent that will be an asset to both the Logan County and Russellville Football programs. The U9 Logan County Impact finds themselves having a record of 10-1, winning their respective classes in the Trojan Bowl in Goodlettsville, Tenn., the Titans Bowl in Hendersonville, Tenn., and the Toy Bowl in Hart County. They have also had a stingy defense, with nine of their games being shutouts. Impact’s latest win came in a 47-12 win against the Bowling Green Purples last Thursday night at Rhea Stadium that not only displayed a detailed running game, but a strong unique passing attack as well.

Impact Sports Ministry prides itself on not just putting excellence on the field but also off the field. Guest speakers from both the Russellville and Logan County football teams have spoken to these young players with the Impact mentoring program. Impact Ministries and the Impact Sports Program would like to thank the community, businesses, and coaches that have contributed to the program. They would also like to thank both Russellville and Logan County School systems for their support of this program that focuses on character development through sports.

The Logan County Impact will be tested this Saturday night as an older Madisonville U10 team comes to town. Game time is at 7 p.m. at Logan County High School and coach Toby Baptiste is encouraging as many fans as possible to come support the local Impact team as it displays our future talent on the field.
