Ben L. Massingille, 46, of Warner Robins, Ga., formally of Russellville, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Georgia.
He was a Jefferson County native born February 9, 1966.
He was a bail bondsman, a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Georgia.
Funeral Services for Ben L. Massingille, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the new Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday beginning at noon and lasting until the service hour.
Pallbearers were Danny Walters, Mark Massingille, Mason Crawford, Richie Dearmond, Greg Disney and Ricky Hefflin.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Massingille; father and step mother, Ronnie and June Massingille of Russellville; mother, Betty Crawford of Hodgenville; step brother, David Dangerfield of Hodgenville and step sisters Jeri Taylor of Olmstead and Susan Alexander of Franklin, Tenn.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
