The Logan County gym was filled with pink on Friday night as the Logan County Cougars held their Pink Out game to raise cancer awareness and to raise money for the American Cancer Society to find a cure. The Logan County teams faced the Todd County Central Rebels in a double-header.

The Lady Cougars played first and started the game off with a strong lead of 19-11 after the first quarter. They continued with their lead and finished the first half with a lead of 32-25. The Lady Cougars had a bad third quarter after only scoring three points while the Lady Rebels took the lead of 35-44 at the end of the third quarter.

The Lady Cougars tried to recover their lead but the Lady Rebels kept fighting on and beat the Lady Cougars by five points to end the game 63-58.

Laura Hunt lead the Lady Cougars with 21 points. Maegann Hardison followed with 16 points and Katelyn Jones with 12 points.

The Cougars were up next and played a very close game against the Rebels. The Cougars ended the first half with a lead of 16-13. The Rebels took the lead in the second quarter but the Cougars quickly gained it back to end the first half 34-33.

The game continued to be a close game but the Cougars widened the gap and lead by seven points at the end of the third quarter. The Cougars continued to fight hard and pulled through with a win of 67-64.

Ben Wright lead the Cougars on Friday with 22 points. Torin Graham had 15 for the Cougars and Tahmir had nine.

The Cougars will face the Barren County Trojans on Thursday at Glasgow and the Lady Cougars will head to West Creek, Tn on Saturday.
