Community Education is offering a free Nutrition on a Budget Class at Stevenson Elementary School from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9, 16 and 23. This class will help you learn to shop for the most nutritious foods at the lowest prices and will feature a coupon swap at the end of each session. It will be taught by Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Educator Paige Rodgers of the Logan County Cooperative Extension Service. Everyone is welcome, but you must register so there is time to prepare enough informational handouts for everyone.
Website Design will be taught by Logan County High School teacher and longtime Community Education instructor Abbi Brown Lillard at LCHS from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 23 and 30. The cost is only $30. In the class you’ll learn the basics of how to set up your own website, a skill that’s great to have in the business world or as you look for a job.
