Greetings from the Antioch Community.

We had a good shower of rain Monday afternoon for which we are thankful for.

Don and Rosie Yarnell came after me on Tuesday night of last week to go to Webb’s Restaurant in Lewisburg to hear the music by James Lawson and his Band. Those playing in the band were James, Dusty King, Steven Eggers, Gene Everit, Freddy Russell, William Bagby and Nelson harris played with them on the last.

One in the Band is a 13 year old boy and he is really good.

Those singing was James Lawson, Ann Foster, Dennis Mohon, Travis Bryant, and Calvin Shemwell. They were all good. If you love country and Gospel music, you will enjoy it. And you can have some good food to eat while you enjoy the singing.

Five ladies from Tops 466 Russellville attended the SRD in Louisville Friday and Saturday. Those going were Brenda Trentm Christy Williams, Barbara Venable, Patty Campbell and myself. Christie won first place in her category for loosing the most weight. We sure were proud of her. I got to march with the Kops (Keep off pounds sensibly) We stayed at Vern Valley Motel. Patty drove me around downtown and showed me some sights. We went by the airport. Saw some big planes there. Then she went to where she lived before she moved out here. Had a good time, only I got up Saturday morning sick at my stomach again. So that kind of messed up my day. But we are thankful that we had a safe trip up there and back home.

Patty had dinner Friday night with her daughter and family who live in Louisville.

Our Revival started Sunday. Bro. Adam Lake is doing the preaching. He is the son-in-law of our Pastor and wife. their daughter Amy sang for us Monday night and Cousin Charlie read one of his poems.

We were glad that Myrtle Pogue was able to be at church Sunday morning.

Travis, Christie, Payton and Corbin Chick, Jimmy and Sheila Christian all went to Fort Benning, Georgia on Thursday of last week to see Jordan, their son and grandson graduate from the Airborne school on Friday. He completed five jumps and one was at night. They made their jumps on D-Day which was very important to them. We are very proud of Jordan.

Christine White said her company had been scarce this week. Juley was there and brought her supper. Dorothy was there and went to Webb’s and got her Breakfast Tuesday.

IF you are tempted to lose patience with another, stop and think how patient God was been with you.

Have a Good Week.
