Presley Morris Grise, 85, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the Medical Center.

He was the son of the late D.A. Grise and Pauline Porter Grise. In addition to his parents, Mr. Grise was preceded in death by his wife of 64 and a half years, Joyclen Webb Grise and his sisters, Helen Gilliam, Martha Strain and Jamie Kane.

Mr. Grise was a retired purchasing agent at Colt Industries. He began his work in 1953 and was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. He loved to grow vegetables and work in his yard.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 at11 a.m. at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Friday, Feb. 8 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. until time of service.

He is survived by his son, Stan Grise of Barranquilla, Columbia, S.A.; his daughter, Joyce Meredith and husband Harvey of Alvaton; his grandchildren, David and Matt Grise, Greg Meredith, Leeann Sneed and Billy, Pam Kennedy and Eric and Daniel Meredith; his great-grandchildren, Katie Sneed, Meradeth Carroll and Addisyn Kennedy, and several nieces and nephews.
