Have you had a busy week? We still are having some chilly mornings, yet beautiful days.

Our sincere sympathy to former Pastor Tony Luttrell and the kids Isaaic, Ivanna and Gideon in the death of his wife and their mother Stephanie Lutrell. I understand her services were Saturday in Tennessee. Monday she was brought for burial in Hopkisnville where she will be buried by her mom.

James Fuller has again been in the Medical Center, but id now back home. We hope he keeps feeling better.

On Wednesday, retired professor at WKU in Bowling Green was here. We traveled down 106 east and got on some back roads I don’t think we ever found before. There is lots of the country we have not been over yet.

Sorry neighbor Martha Williams had the misfortune of falling last week. As a result of the fall, she broke her leg. We sure hope she soon gets to feeling better.

On Wednesday the 5th, Barbara Wood enjoyed her 80th birthday with her daughter Donna, Jeff and the kids Dory and Ian, hubby Don and son Ronnie. They all enjoyed her special birthday supper. Donna did the cooking. Isn’t it nice when someone does that for you? Way to go.

I got a call Friday night from cuz Lois Earl Brown. They were back from, I think, Lexington where Carrie Belcher lives. She is not at all well. She was in the hospital again with surgery. We hope it helps her to feel better. She and her brother Roger are both in bad health. Going with Lois Earl was Roger and I suppose Faye. Anyway, hope the next news we hear is that all are feeling better.

Garrison Rosser of Transylvania spent Easter week at home and attended services at Elk Lick.

We had a church full this past Sunday. Let’s have Easter every Sunday if it makes our church full. We had 78 in Sunday school. If we can have this many on Easter Sunday, let’s keep it up every Sunday okay? Let’s make a special effort to be at church each Sunday.

Pastor Dale Hanson did the sunrise service at the Methodist church in Lewisburg on Easter. Several were in attendance.

Thanks to Judy Jernigan, she fixed my lunch and brought it to me. It was delicious. She was having over her kids David, Stacey and girls, Kim and Johnny and Grace and a bunch of her family from Greenville.

The Elk Lick Choir did a special cantata for the service on Easter Sunday and were given a special applause for a job well done.

Until next time, keep a big smile on your face and a special hello to each one you meet. See you around.
