Man, I can’t believe it is almost time to come home.
But before I pack my suitcase one more time I need to tell you all about what has happened this last week.
Friday the ladies here brought all their talents to a Craft Show like I have never seen. My friend, who makes little “paper things”, sold almost everything she took… with my help of course. I wouldn’t brag but you must admit I am good at “TALKING”!
Last week we had a wonderful luncheon at a harbor grill that had more boats than I have ever seen at Lake Malone.
Also they had a great big rack that holds boats. I nearly flipped when this big machine with hooks on the front simply picked up a boat and placed it up on the very top of that rack. Some of these racks are four boats high. Of course I took a picture to bring home to show everybody.
On our way home, we went down the “alligator road”. I really didn’t think I would see an alligator but I never thought I would see a “big snake” laying in my yard at Lake Malone but I did! Anyway, a baby one was just lying in a pond next to the road. It was just a baby but it was as big as my arm. The Hubby says that every time I tell this story the alligator get bigger. I promise I will not bring it back home.
I cannot close this little note without mentioning the “BIG BLUE”. I must tell you I sat here and watched our guys get behind when they were playing those Florida gators! The more upset I got the more behind they got! Finally, they were tied at the half. All of a sudden I got a bright idea. I put on my magic “big blue” jacket and when they started the second half, I didn’t even recognize that team. They were rebounding and making foul shots! I don’t have to tell you that they won. Everybody within ten miles of me knew it also.
You won’t believe it but I started this article right before I dozed off to sleep for an afternoon nap and now I will tell you I really “enjoyed those moments”! Till I am back in God’s country, I’ll just say “Bye now”!
