Greetings from the Antioch Community.
We sure had a lot of rain Monday night at my house.
I enjoy listening to Gerald Hildabrand and his music on Friday last week.
We had a surprise birthday dinner at church on Sunday for Carolyn White. We met in the Fellowship Hall after the worship hour. We had a good crowd to stay for the meal. We had a good lunch and a time of Fellowship. Carolyn received several gifts.
Remember Ms. Dorothy Lee in your prayers. She is in the hospital. This is the mother of our own Joyce McIntosh.
Our W.O.M. Ladies are taking snacks to the teachers of Lewisburg School on Tuesday the 14th.
The Senior outing for February has been canceled for the month of February because the weather may not be good.
We send Sincere Sympathy to the family of Bro. Ray Mullen. Bro. Ray was the pastor at Antioch for a while.
Our cousin Sherry Harris of Louisville will be coming on March 10th to get her taxes fixed. So we will meet with her on Saturday.
Our community Valentine Banquet will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Mrs. Kay Gardner, one of the Tops Club, will be having a birthday on Valentines Day.
Gerald Hildabrand’s birthday is also on Valentine’s Day. My doctor, Dr. Larry Gotts, was almost a Valentine baby, but missed it by one day. He arrived on the 13th.
I hope everyone has a happy Valentine Day.
There are no ordinary people. We were created to be unique.
Have a good week.
