Greetings from The Antioch Community.
Sorry I have missed writing, but I have been having knee problems. Been where I couldn’t hardly walk. I had an MRI done last week. My doctor didn’t give me good news.
My sister Sue and husband came one day last week. They brought me a picture of the four cousins on the Wilhite side that are still living.
Cloie Rager was at Antioch on Sunday morning to tell us about her mission trip to Haiti in February. She will be working with “Hand and Feet Project.” Which is funded by donations and support by local churches. If you want to help, call 270-498-9194.
We are glad Nancy Harris is able to be at home. She said she was still awful weak. Hope she is soon much better. We miss her and Morris Lee at church.
Jeanie Gregory called yesterday and she has had the flu. Said she had been really sick.
Blanton Christian has the flu and the pneumonia.
The seniors trip out was canceled this month because Melba’s mom wasn’t feeling too good.
I had a call from Ms. Lucy this morning and also a call from Ruth from the Tops Club. If you need to lose a few pounds, come and join us. We meet each Wednesday morning in the dining room at Logan Memorial Hospital from 9 till 10 a.m. You will meet a group of friendly ladies.
Happy Birthday wishes for February are – Carolyn White 4, Karen Moberly 7, Judy White 9, my good Dr. Larry Gotts 13, Gerald Hildabrand 14, my daughter-in-law Betty Henderson 17, Stephanie McKinney 18, Harry Epley 18, Russell Johnson 28. Hope all have a Happy Birthday.
Sincere Sympathy to the Jerry Crawford family.
We got $427.05 for the Fisher House at Ft. Campbell. This is a good mission project to help our soldiers and their family.
A friend is one who can tell you the truth in love.
Have a good week.
