And how do you like these days? We know how Kentucky is known for its weather. Not long ago it was rough. I am so cold natured. I keep telling myself that one day I will be able to say it sure is hot isn’t it?
Our sympathy to Don Wood and the family in the death of his brother, David Wood. His services were this past week.
Mrs. Marion Mallory has been having it rough. She is in Creekwood and somehow ended up with a broken leg. As a result she has been in the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She had surgery and seemed to go through okay. Hope she is soon able to be back at Creekwood. Mack and Ed have been helping see after her.
I almost forgot January birthdays. The 8th is Ed Mallory, the 13th is Greg Whitson, the 18th is Nancy Stuart Renfro, the 20th is Stephannie Borders Coursey, the 21st is Sherry Harris, the 22nd is Garrison Rosser and the 27th is John Stuart.
A couple of anniversaries are, the 30th Guy Lewis and Janice Kees and the 31st is Truman and Pat Johnson. They all got married in 1971.
The Sunday before last was a beautiful day looking out, but the temperatures were not very warm. This past weekend wasn’t as bad. I think I heard the weatherman quoting temps to get into the 60s this week. That will almost feel like a heat wave. As I repeated numerous times and aren’t you tired of hearing, I’m cold natured. I stay cold all the time.
We will be looking for spring with everything getting green. Then comes the lawn work and we will complain about it being so hot. The weeds, the bugs and you know how it is. We are a complaining people, right?
Another interesting thing to make as your New Years resolution… read the Bible through. Thankfully I have been able to do that for several years now. I read different versions each year.
Have a good week. See ya soon!
