Greetings from the Antioch community.
Sorry that I have missed writing my column. But I have been so sick. I missed all my Christmas parties.
I did get out Christmas Day and went to church.
Sheila and Jimmy Christian had their family get together Christmas Eve for supper. She went me two plates of food and it sure was good.
Visiting with Myrtle Pogue on Christmas Eve was Marcie Patterson.
Then Christmas Day for supper was Farmer and Faye Brown, Carrie Belcher, Roger, Laurie, Jacklyn, Luke and his girlfriend. They brought supper and had Christmas Dinner with Myrtle.
Barbara and Tony Shoemake visited with Myrtle on Monday night.
Carolers came from Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Methodist church came and sang for Myrtle and brought gifts.
Delores Harris had her family Christmas day night for supper.
Marcie stopped by to see me on Christmas Eve.
My sister Sue and James Fuller came to see me Monday and brought a nice gift.
My son Terry and daughter Terrika from Nashville came Monday night and ate supper with me.
The seniors went to Clarksville and ate at the Golden Coral in December. I didn’t get to go with them.
I think we have finally got enough bottle caps for our quota. We thank each and every one who helped us.
Remember Nancy Harris in prayer. She is in the hospital at this time.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.
We can never praise Jesus too much!
Have a good week.
