Greetings from The Antioch Community.
Congratulations to Bro. Don and Pam Billingsley, who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at the old Theater. It was so beautiful. A delicious meal was served. We really enjoyed ourselves. We wish for this nice couple many more years together.
We had a large crowd at church Sunday night as Stewart Chapel came and used our baptistery to baptize Christian Stokes. We are proud for this fine young boy. Bro. Kenny Gregory played the piano and sang for us. He was really good. I think it is great when churches can get together. I got to see some friends that I hadn’t seen for a while.
Sue, I have misplaced your phone number, so this message is for you and anyone who wants to go. The seniors will be going on our outing Friday, Dec. 16th to Moonlite in Owensboro. We will depart the church at 10 a.m. if the weather permits.
The children’s Christmas program will be Sunday the 18th. Following the service we will have Christmas Dinner.
We are our last bag of plastic bottle caps. We sure thank all of you who have helped us.
We will hath to turn our money in the last of December for the Fisher House at Fort Campbell to help the families have a free place to stay while their spouses are in the hospital. So remember to bring you change or bills and put in our barrel at church.
Our Tops Club 466 Russellville will meet Dec. 14 at Slappz for our Christmas. Don’t forget to come. Bring a gift.
Sharon, our leader, would be glad to have any new ladies to come. We meet each Wednesday at the Logan Memorial Hospital in the dining room. We will make you feel welcome.
The greatest gift of life is friendship and I have received it.
Merry Christmas to everyone.
Have a good week.
