Hello from a chilly Spa. It is that time of year for colder weather. According to the calendar, winter begins the 21st of December.
Hope all had a good time through Thanksgiving and remembering to be thankful.
Our sympathy to our cousin Josie Boatwright in the death of her husband Darrell this past week. Josie herself is not at all well having a lot of heath problems. Hope she is soon feeling better.
Also our sympathy to the family of Ben Harris. His services will be in Donelson, Tennessee the 17th of December.
WKU retired professor Dr. Lynwood Montell of Bowling Green was here Wednesday. So out we go to Silver City, Quality and all around, ending up at Webb’s for our delicious lunch. Then on home and he heads back to B.G.
Friday night was the time of “Come to My Table.” Bringing me my eats were Rita Coursey. It was good to see her, as it had been some time since I had seen her.
Bro. Dale Hanson and wife were in attendance this past Sunday morning at Elk Lick Baptist Church. Bro. Dale was a prospective pastor. He was the guest speaker for the day. The church will vote on him next Sunday. After the service a lunch was enjoyed in the activities building. Even though is was messy outside, it was very nice inside.
See ya next time. Have a good week!
