Greetings from The Antioch Community.
Our Seniors sure enjoyed the trip to Pattis. They had everything decorated so pretty for Christmas. We had 10 to go and five that was planning to go that didn’t make it.
The month of November we will be going to Moonlite BBQ in Owensboro. We will depart the church at 10 a.m. If you would like to go, just let us know.
October was Pastor’s appreciation month. So we surprised our pastor Sunday with cards that had gift cards in them. Melba fixed a box and we had Bro. Albert’s picture with his horse at the top of the box.
They had Trunk of Treat with chili and hot dogs at the “I Am Center” pavilion Sunday night. I have something wrong with my left foot and can’t hardly walk, so I didn’t get to go.
Marcie and I went to Gupton Grove Baptist Church on Thursday night to their revival. Bro. Curtis McGhee was doing the preaching. He is good. Their pastor, Bro. Gary and his wife did the special music and it sure was pretty.
Some November birthdays are – Melba Gibbs 1, Michele Henderson, my granddaughter 2, my great grandson 2, Don Neagle 3, Amanda Jessie 4, Brooke Cropper 11, Jeff Fuller 13 my nephew, Michael Christian 14, Terry Coursey 15, Lisa Statton 25, Mark Thornberry 26th.
Some anniversaries are Jimmy and Terry Coursey 6, Mike and Tammy Sisco 6, James and Cynthia Thornberry 8th.
Hope all have a special day.
We will have a Community Thanksgiving Meal at 6 p.m. on Nov. 19th. You are invited to come.
I enjoyed Gary Anderson on Feedback Monday.
Karen Christian had surgery on her arm Friday. She has been in a lot of pain. Hope she can soon be much better.
What God does for us, we should do for others. Vanessa Price had her granddaughter with her at church Sunday morning. She is a pretty little girl.
Have a good week.
