A cool week to me, but everyone does not stay as I do. This is one thing that Stanley catches from me is being cold natured. We are always cold, but the days have been beautiful.
Our sympathy to the family of Helen Porter. Her services were at Price Funeral Home. He birthday would have been the 23rd, but she liked several days making it.
I have always enjoyed company and did one night this week when Marvine Borders and one of her caregivers, Julie stopped by awhile.
Revival services concluded Wednesday night at Elk Lick, with comments of “good revival.” Another one “I feel revived” was heard. I did not get to go but 2 times.
As I mentioned, Stanley has taken up wood working. Saturday afternoon he brought me 2 more things to see. One was the cutest Christmas tree. He had one that was a bell and it had a cut out in the shape of a candy cane. The other had a Santa cut out in it. He has already made the cutest turkey, small enough to sit in your hand and also a large one to sit outside. He has made paper towel holders and I’m not sure what all else. I am really enjoying seeing all those things. It has a new interest for him, and Elaine and I too. We really like saying we want one of those.
Hasn’t the weather been great? Some cool mornings, but most beautiful days. And her it is the middle of October and Christmas is well on its way. Got some things done already, but a few more to go.
See ya next time. Have a good week.
