Greetings from The Antioch Community.

Tim and Jo Fraisher, Bruce and daughter Elicia from Oklahoma were visiting with Shirley and David Ballard over the weekend and attended church with them Sunday.

Our revival started Sunday morning with our former pastor, Bro. Jimmy Kenner preaching for us. Sunday night we had 4 Him quartet sing for us and they were really good.

Bro. Jimmy brought some of the Native Americans with him and a 15 year old young lady gave her testimony last night. Penny played the piano for us and one of the ladies sang with her. Then she sang in their language, which was interesting to us. We had a large crowd Sunday night too because of Bro. Jimmy being our speaker.

We had lunch after service Sunday morning. We really had the food and it was good.

Myrtle Pogue is going to celebrate her 95th birthday Tuesday with some ladies from the Tabernacle church coming and have their meeting there. She really enjoyed a visit from Penny Kenner Sunday afternoon. Also coming by was Rush McIntosh with flowers. Patrishia came with a pot of mums. So she is already enjoying her birthday.

Enjoyed listening to Mr. Ben Brown on the Feedback program Monday morning.

Some October birthdays are, my cousin Joe Delk 3, Trevor Christian 4, Wayne Winters 9, Noah Hurt 11, my nephew Tony Fuller 13, Caleb Epley 14, my son Marion 17, our pastor’s wife, Avanel Clardy 18, Jamie Jessee 18, my cousin Hazel 24.

Celebrating their anniversary are Roy and Cheryl Flewallen 12, my great granddaughter Erika and Matt Brown 23rd. Hope all have a special day and many more to come.

The Todd Logan WMU quarterly meeting will be at Elkton Baptist Church Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. Pot luck lunch will follow.

We will have a community fish fry on Oct. 15. Come and join us.

The senior adult outing will be Oct. 21st. Will depart the church at 10 a.m. for Patti’s in Grand Rivers. We always have a good time. Come and go with us.

There will be Trunk or Treat at the church on Oct. 30. We will have chili and hot dogs. Bring some candy or treats and join us.

The family of Bryan Fuller attended the graduation on Sunday in Frankfort from the army. Congratulations to Bryan. He is a fine young man. He is my nephew.

When the world around us is crumbling, Christ is the solid Rock on which we stand.

Have a good week.

I forgot that Marylin Goodman who helps weigh us at Tops has a birthday on Oct. 5th.

If you would like to lose a few pounds, come and join us each Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. in the dining room of Logan Memorial Hospital. We will encourage you and help you all we can.
