Here I am again! You remember last week we had to purchase a new TV so I could be prepared for the upcoming football season! Well, you won’t believe what happened. It worked beautifully for two days and then all of a sudden the people on the screen starting turning green. Yes, I said GREEN. So once again I called my TV provider told them what had happened and instantly I turned into a TV repair person.

For two hours, I checked this and that, then took cables off the set down stairs and put them on the one upstairs to see if there was a cable problem. Checked all the “plug ins” to see if they were tight but we still had green everything on the screen. Then all of a sudden they told me they were switching me to the makers of our new TV set and after another hour, this lady came into my TV set electronically and fixed it. Now we have regular people and not green ones from out of space.

I told the Hubby that there must be a conspiracy against me watching the beginning of the football season.

Finally I was in my favorite chair. All I could think about were the obstacles I had overcome to see these games and you guessed it. My Green Bay Packers LOST! I thought I would die. But they played AWFUL. I could have “jerked” a knot in those guys. Every time they got the ball, it looked like they forgot what to do with it! After I told the Hubby what they should do with it but he reminded me that I was a LADY and I shouldn’t say things like that. I made it through that day and Monday rolled around.

When I jumped out of bed, I realized I had my first sinus headache of the fall season. Oh, Joy. I could say something stronger but I won’t! I will say, it was a long day.

Finally the Eagles and the Bears ran out on the field. You know that the Eagles are on my favorite team list. But at the half, I remarked that before too long the Bears were not going to have anyone left on the field if they kept “hitting each other so hard”. Of course the hubby reminded me that is what the game of football is all about. But people they carried somebody off the field almost after every play. I bet their Mamas were having a “fit” seeing somebody hurting their “little boys”! You know how Mama’s are…..those guys will always be their “little boys”, I don’t care how BIG AND MEAN they get!

Well, the EAGLES won and you know what I did…..carried that sinus headache to bed with me after much complaining about it. The Hubby made only one statement as he went to bed…..I don’t know if I am going to make it through this football season. He keeps telling me that my “armchair coaching days are over” but as you know “I don’t listen”!

Till Thursday Night, you know where I will be, yep in my arm chair enjoying the moment! Bye now.
