Howdy! Where ever you are I hope you attended church Sunday morning. We had 52 at Elk Lick in Spa. Guest speakers Sunday were Tim and Katrina Moye, with their children. They are preparing for missions in Ecuador. Tim and Katrina spoke of their commitment to this endeavor.

James Fuller had cataract surgery this past week and is doing okay.

Our sympathy to former pastor Bro. Kenny Cummins and family in the death of one of his sisters Connie Cummins Haverlock of the Princeton area. He services were Sunday afternoon.

Thursday Judy Jernigan had an appointment with Dr. Thad Wells for an eye appointment. After we met Martine Brown and Betty Lassiter at the Colonial Inn and ate lunch. We were celebrating Betty’s birthday.

Saturday was a busy day at the activities building at Elk Lick Church. This was the day chosen for the Johnson family reunion. I thought it was going to be a gloomy day, however, it was a great day. We had a total of 46. I will only mention out of town or state. They were Sherry Harris and granddaughter Anglelynn, Richard and Sue Johnson and Rick, all of Louisville and Andy Godsey of Fredricksville, Missouri.

We had the best food and lots of it. You just might want to mark your calender for 2017. It will be the 3rd Saturday in September.

Hope you have a good week and remember, God loves you.
