Greetings from The Antioch Community.
Sorry I am late, but had to keep my appointment Monday with my Doctor in Bowling Green.
We had a good time last week at the home of Dick Dickerson. Sorry that his health isn’t very good. Hope he can soon be better. We were few in number, but we sure had a delicious lunch. Thanks to Sheila for cooking for us.
Sorry that Roy Flewallen is in the Hospital. Remember him and all the sick in your prayers.
My cousin Charles Delk is having his teeth pulled. He is having a hard time. They bleed so bad.
Our homemade ice cream sure was good and so was the movie, “Miracles From Heaven.”
We are working on our Christmas in August for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box. Jennifer needs some help for the postage on the shoe boxes that she fixes. The cost to ship is $7 a box.
We are still collecting the bottle tops for our church bench.
The Senior Adults will be going to “L&R Soda Shop” in Elkton on Aug. 19. After lunch we will go to the Jefferson Davis Monument. We will leave the church at 10 a.m.
Grace and mercy are unearned blessings. It is almost mail time, so will close.
Have a good week.
