I must say I have had a very unusual Valentine Day. I woke this morning and one of my Buddies sent me a picture of their porch and it had that “BIG WHITE STUFF” all over it. Tonight I called another Buddy to follow up on the schedule for Big UK team and he said that it was supposed to sleet there tonight. Ask me if I am glad I am down here in Never Never Land where the climate is a little warmer. But I must say this year the wind BLOWS AND BLOWS! At least wind cannot accumulate.
I know a lot of you women out there got flowers, candy or maybe that “LOVE BEAR” that I saw advertised on the TV. Can you imagine hugging a bear as big as you are? Well, I got the cutest card. You see the Hubby and I made a promise that we would only give cards instead of gifts on special occasions. It’s a game we play to see who finds the cutest card. Did you figure out that cards are cheaper than roses? Wonder whose idea that was?
His card had three little couples on the front. One said, sometimes we laugh, one said, sometimes we fight and finally the third couple says sometimes we make up. I opened it and “out popped” a couple that were hugging and it said ‘But we love each other all the time”. He won the prize. Mine had three large words as big as the card, they were YOU AND ME and inside the word FOREVER was written inside. He won because I love “pop out cards”. Hope you got a valentine but remember you can always make sure a friend has a wonderful day any day of the week. You don’t have to wait for a holiday.
I know you probably get tired of hearing about the BIG BLUE but I found out that everywhere I go somebody has got on a shirt with their favorite team’s name printed on the front. You are right, I forgot to bring my UK and my Bronco shirt. You would be surprised how many Bronco fans are around since they won the Super Bowl.
I had a brand new BIG BLUE Hoodie and I laid it down somewhere and that is the last time I saw it. The Hubby had to remind me it was a good thing that my head didn’t screw off or I would probably lay it down somewhere. So if you see a hoodie laying around just pick it up for me.
Must tell you my days are numbered. Mother Nature better get on the ball and do something about that weather up there. I just don’t believe I can stand coming back to that “white stuff”. She has really had a problem this winter. Everybody told me it was going to be a bad winter because the wooly worms were changing colors. Really, since when did the Wooly Worm get that much authority over Mother Nature? I don’t think that is the reason.
I must sign off and just say Bye now! But you better enjoy the moment even if you have to do it in the SNOW!
