Greetings from The Antioch Community.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas as we celebrated the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. And I hope you have a blessed New Year.
Our Tops Club 466 Russellville met on Wednesday at Roy’s Restaurant for our Christmas dinner and exchanged gifts. We had a good meal and a good time being together. All of our members were there but two.
Our Seniors went on our regular monthly outing to Ryan’s in Bowling Green on Friday. Those going were Melba Gibbs driving the bus, her great-grandson Bradley, Marcie Patterson, Avanell Clardy, Dolores Harris, Patty Campbell, JoAnn Henderson, Sheila and Harry Epley and myself. I called Phyllis (Johnson) Causey and she met us there and at lunch with us. We enjoyed the good food and being together.
Judy (Coursey) Taylor stopped to see me on Tuesday. My sister Sue and James Fuller came to see me Saturday and I wasn’t at home either day. I am so sorry that I missed seeing them.
We had our musical on Sunday morning at church. Everyone said that we did a great job. Thanks to Chris Eply who worked so hard helping us to learn the songs. The Children did the nativity scene. They were so precious all dressed up.
We had finger foods Sunday night after the business meeting. We always enjoy eating and the fellowship together.
Dolores Harris enjoyed going top Clarksville on Sunday after church with Sheila and Harry Epley and their sons Chris and Caleb. They were celebrating Sheila’s birthday, which was on Wednesday, Dec. 18th.
I have received 52 beautiful Christmas Cards and I have loved them all.
Sure did enjoy Gerald Hildabrand being on the radio Monday playing his Christmas music.
Give God what’s right, not what’s left.
See you next year.
Have a good week.
