Merry Christmas from Adairville and the Coffee Bottom Gal. I hope every one of us will pause for a moment from the hustle and bustle of our family times to remember the greatest gift of all time, the gift of our Lord and salvation that began in the form of a baby. May we remember the story doesn’t end with that humble birth but continues for His entire earthly life to the crucifixion and His triumph over death and will continue until His second coming and for all of eternity. What a beautiful love story of God’s love for me and all His people.
I ask God to richly bless each and every person in this great country of ours and that you have a most peaceful and joyous Christmas and a blessed New Year.
We are saddened by the news of the death of the missing girl, Allison Walker. Please pray for her family as they deal with their loss.
Ms. Paige Price’s class came to Central Office last Friday and sang Christmas carols for us and enjoyed some of Mrs. Patsy’s homemade hot chocolate. They were being a little shy so I donned my Christmas hat and did the cancan twist which they joined right in with me. After about the third time I told them that I would have to sit down. Then they wanted to do the NANA. Since I had no idea how to do that they proceeded to show me. One young man asked me to the dance at the Special Olympics next year to be his date. Guess I’ll have to learn the NANA before then.
Short time this week. Again have a blessed Christmas and let your Coffee Bottom or wherever you grew up memories flood you with happy thoughts of past Christmases!
