Another drizzly Saturday in Logan County, Ky., at least at Spa. How was your week? Did you have a great Thanksgiving Day? Did we really appreciate and be thankful that all is as well with us as it is? With all the problems in the world, even then, we have a lot to be thankful for. We are blessed people.
Stanley came up and got me and I ate brunch with he, Elaine and Tara. I really enjoyed it. Later in the afternoon she had to go to work. Those gals at the hospital are much needed. I think she was on the 3 till 11 shift. Anyway, those who meet Elaine and find out she is my daughter-in-law always call and tell me how much they loved her. She is a sweet gal.
Thirty-one happy people spent Thanksgiving day at the home of Lynn and Wayne Joines at Belton including her mom Margie Latham and other siblings and family members and friends. Wasn’t that great that so many of a family get together and have a super day?
Enjoying Thanksgiving together at the home of Miranda and Dustin Connelly, Addision, Bayleigh and Able in Auburn were grandparents Sue and James Fuller, her dad Tony Fuller and others Jeff and Corrie Fuller and kids Olivia, Brett, Sean and Luke and Bryan and Jessica Fuller and Ace. Sue said she really enjoyed the day, plus all the good food.
Bev took George to his Dr. in Owensboro. He seems to be improving, so they just spent a quiet day Thursday by themselves with turkey and all the goodies.
Enjoying the day Thursday with Martine Brown were Rozena and Pat Stanley, Jay and Chris and Kim Stanley, Anna, Laura and Shane.
My good friend in Russellville, Delores Renfro and neighbor Mr. Jes Perdue enjoyed the day Thursday with her brother and family.
I had two lunches brought to me from the Lewisburg feast. One by Warren Michael Whitson and the other by Mitchell Johnson. Mitchell is good to me and I appreciate him.
Enjoying the day Thursday with Russell Johnson for all the eats and a good time were a total of 26. I’m just gonna mention by name his sis Arlene Watkins and brothers Truman and Patsey Johnson of Epley and David and Jan Johnson of Glasgow. All the rest were other kin folks. Russell is now in his new house, doesn’t have to cut wood anymore which is a blessing. I know, he like the rest of us, has a few birthdays, so I’m glad life is a little easier for him now.
Virginia Hart was a guest of son Jerry and Barbara Hart and family on Wednesday night. On Thursday she enjoyed the day with son Jerry and Claudia hart and others of the family.
I went to church Sunday morning with Stanley, Elaine and Tara at Crossroads. Tara is in charge of their music department, so I got to see and hear their music program. She plays the guitar and a friend also sang with her. Two guys were playing their instruments too. And then the preaching services by pastor Chris. It sure was a messy day to get out, but didn’t get rained on.
See ya next time. Smile, God loves you.
